Horticulture Specialist – Evergreen Expertise | Merrill, WI
Full-Time | $20.50–$21.50/hr | Hands-on, Outdoors, Growth-Oriented
Are you passionate about plant science, evergreen species, and getting your hands in the soil? We're looking for a Horticulture Specialist to help drive the health, growth, and beauty of our nursery's plant life—especially our evergreens.

What You'll Do:
- Monitor and manage soil health, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control
- Diagnose plant issues and provide treatment solutions
- Oversee planting, pruning, and evergreen care with expert-level precision
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to optimize growing cycles and production
- Train and support farm crew on horticultural techniques
- Maintain nursery spaces and contribute to layout planning
- Lead crop rotations and assist in evergreen propagation
What You Bring:
- Degree or certification in Horticulture, Plant Science, or relevant field—or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong working knowledge of evergreens and seasonal plant care
- Experience in nursery work, crop production, or landscape management
- Bilingual Spanish-English is a plus
- A keen eye for plant health, attention to detail, and willingness to get dirty!
- Valid driver’s license and ability to relocate to or commute daily to Merrill, WI
