Job Full Description
Express is seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician/Carpenter for a temporary project. This hybrid role requires proficiency in both electrical systems and carpentry work. The ideal candidate is highly preferred to be a licensed journeyman electrician with strong carpentry skills, capable of working independently or as part of a team to complete high-quality work safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with local codes and blueprints.
- Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers.
- Diagnose electrical problems using diagrams, blueprints, testing devices, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes.
Carpentry Duties:
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as walls, floors, doors, windows, and cabinetry.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials using hand and power tools.
Pay: $27.00 an hour
