Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable, safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and committed to delivering excellent service while ensuring compliance with all DOT and company regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local, regional, or dedicated routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections according to DOT standards
- Load and unload freight as required
- Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery paperwork, and inspection records
- Adhere to all transportation laws and safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining high customer service standards
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
- Minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
- Strong communication skills and professional work ethic
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required
