Express Employment Professionals – Now Hiring Experienced Remodel Laborers

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and reliable Remodel Laborer to join a reputable local remodeling team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on construction experience who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with residential and commercial remodel projects from demolition through finishing stages

  • Perform demolition safely, removing old materials without damaging structural components

  • Support carpenters and trades by measuring, cutting, staging materials, and completing prep work

  • Operate hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, grinders, and sanders

  • Install or assist with installation of flooring, trim, fixtures, cabinets, and other building components

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite throughout the workday

  • Load, unload, and transport materials and debris

  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and equipment

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure project efficiency

 

Required Experience & Skills

  • Previous experience in remodeling, construction, or related labor (1+ year preferred)

  • Ability to safely use common hand tools and power tools

  • Basic carpentry knowledge and familiarity with demolition and prep work

  • Ability to read measurements and follow instructions accurately

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

 

Physical Requirements

  • Lift and carry up to 50–75 lbs regularly

  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders throughout the workday

  • Work in varying weather conditions and active construction environments

 

Schedule & Pay

  • $20.00 per hour

  • Opportunities for long-term placement based on performance
