Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and reliable Belly Dump / Side Dump Driver to join our team. This role requires an experienced driver with a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, a solid work ethic, and the ability to operate heavy equipment responsibly.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate belly dump and/or side dump trucks to transport materials to and from job sites
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition
- Comply with all federal, state, and local driving regulations and company safety policies
- Maintain accurate logs, records, and documentation as required
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and team members
- Ensure timely and dependable delivery of materials
- Report any vehicle issues, safety concerns, or incidents immediately
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating belly dump and/or side dump trucks
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Clean driving record required
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and transportation regulations
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate dependability
- Strong work ethic with punctual attendance
Preferred Skills
- Experience in construction or material hauling environments
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment troubleshooting
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and job site conditions
