Sometimes it just takes the encouragement from one person to get you to take a jump and go after a dream. For Fredy Tamraz, it was the encouragement from Express Employment Professionals Franchisee Nanet Jacobs, that convinced him to pursue the opportunity to become an Express Franchisee. 

"I've been a business owner for 15 years and was looking for my next opportunity," said Tamraz. "Nanet felt like I would be a good fit with Express and the more we discussed it, the more I agreed."

Although he gained an extensive amount of information about Express from Jacobs, it wasn't until he visited Express International Headquarters in Oklahoma City that he was truly sold on the opportunity. 

"The day spent at Express Headquarters is what did it for me," said Tamraz. "Hearing and learning from the presentations about the level of support and all of the assets provided to Franchisees was very encouraging. I was pleased to learn about it all because my one concern had been about the support would I get." 

Before being awarded the South San Francisco, CA, location, Tamraz conducted several validation calls to learn from different Franchisees what their experiences have been with Express. 

"Those calls reminded me I need to be aggressive and make sure I am following the system," said Tamraz. "I'm very excited to get started and find my location." 

With prior experience owning businesses, Tamraz understands some of what is to come on his journey to become a successful Express Franchisee. 

"It is never easy to start a business," said Tamraz. "The difference with this compared to starting my own is there is a system I can learn, use and follow. The system saves time and work while providing me a head start on everything. Most importantly, the Express system has proven to be successful." 

Although the journey is just starting for Tamraz, he has already embraced the Express spirit and is moving forward with excitement each step of the way, anxious to officially open his location. 

"It is exciting to be part of a successful company," said Tamraz. "I'm really looking forward to being able to contribute to Express' success while also helping people."
