    Meredith Campbell, Chief Joy Facilitator and Co-Owner

    In Meredith's first year with Express Employment Professionals, she mastered the employment consultant role helping individuals find the right job while consulting with companies to help fill their open positions. She then advanced into a client representative role, partnering with local employers to learn their human resource and employment needs, aches and pains, and providing customized solutions with the help of her team. She is excited to have business discussions with local employers about the Top 5 Threats facing businesses today and what employers are doing to not just survive but thrive in today's economy. She is active in the community and volunteers with local organizations such as the local SHRM chapter, Eblen Charities and is a graduate of Leadership Asheville 33.

    Meredith became co-owner in January of 2014 and she has been with the Express team since 2007.

    Fun Fact: When she was younger, she was a competitive Irish dancer.


    Jessica Gibbs, Seeker of the Skills

    Jessica is our lead manufacturing staffing specialist. Her focus is to work with employers and job seekers on positions such as fork lift operator, CNC machinist, material handler and quality inspector. Her enthusiasm and extensive experience of solving problems and handling conflict make her the perfect fit to work with manufacturing job seekers and employers alike. She has worked with the team for 3 years and her energy and commitment to helping people find their success in the manufacturing world is tremendous. Jessica's past experience working with a large and successful summer camp gives her the passion and dedication to help people and solve problems each day.

    Fun Fact: She was raised on the old Disney movies: The Cat from Outerspace, Race to Witch Mountain, 3 Lives of Thomasina, Apple Dumpling Gang and Pete’s Dragon are among her favorites.


    LynnleeAnn Jefferson, Director of First Impressions

    Kristy Kay, Business Development Guru

    Kristy is our business development professional. She works to connect with employers in our area to understand business challenges and opportunities as it relates to recruiting, screening, onboarding and retention. She is known for the great questions she asks and her ability to solve problems with her creative thinking and solution oriented mindset. If you see her driving the "Express-MOBILE", be sure to honk and say "hi"!

    Fun Fact: She can play 3 instruments: the saxophone, the guitar, and the piano.


    Cheryl McKenzie, Consultant

    Cheryl joined Asheville Express in December 2013. Her focus is to work with employers and job seekers for positions in the administrative and healthcare field such as administrative assistant, bookkeeper, medical office, receptionist, billing clerk and coder. Cheryl's desire to help employers find the right administrative professional makes her dynamic, honest and confident when helping job seekers. Her previous experience as an educator provides the foundation to act as a consultant when working with employers. 

    Fun Fact: She has never seen Gone With The Wind, Romeo & Juliet, or Titanic.


    Lauren Schneider, Operations Administrator

    Lauren is the key administrative support person for our team and office. She is vital to client, associate, and co worker success. She works hard to be fast, friendly, and accurate each day to provide a stellar experience for all around her. Her background in hospitality and running a summer camp have given her the organizational skills and energy to run an efficient and fun operations. 

    Fun Fact: Her family in Germany owned a castle.


    Brooke Souder: Administrative Matchmaker Extraordinaire

    Brooke joined our team in March of 2017. Moving from Hawaii, her focus is to work with employers and job seekers for administrative positions in both the manufacturing and professional service industries. She identifies a variety of administrative talent with customer service, accounting, and legal knowledge.

    Fun Fact: She was in an was in an Oscar Mayer Wiener commercial when she was a kid. Gold star for anyone who can find a copy of the commercial!


    Caleena Walker, Recruiting Assistant

    Caleena is the recruiting assistant for Express Employment Professionals of Asheville. She brings experience and work ethic from a career in retail management. Her ability to help people and determine what they need translates to success on our team as she works with job seekers on their employment journey.

    Fun Fact: She has been stung by a BULLET ANT and now has a fear of all ants. Big or little!


    WhoDey, Office Dog and Greeter

    WhoDey is an important member of our team and office operation. Whether she greets someone at the door or sleeps in the middle of the hall way, she ensures that all who interact with her feel her love and peace!

    Fun Fact: Whodey is a goldendoodle. She doesn't shed and is hypo-allergenic. 


  • Meet the Owner


    The Asheville Express Employment Professionals office opened in 1997.

    Gary Gallagher assumed ownership of the office in April 2007 and is continuing the excellent tradition of helping good people find good companies and good companies find good people. Gary has previous business experience as the VP of Human Resources for a global market research firm, general manager of a professional services firm, operations experience in a high tech manufacturing environment and general management and sales experience with a full service human resource consulting firm.

    As owner of the franchise, Gary focuses on staff and client development and retention, networking in the community, and working with other organizations for the economic well-being of the Western North Carolina area.

    Gary is active in the community and is currently a member of the Mission Hospital Ambassador program, the Mission Children's Hospital Gold Medal Endowment Committee, the Rotary Club of South Asheville, and volunteers at the Salvation Army. 

    Fun Fact: He is an avid golfer and he has made a hole-in-one in the wrong hole!
