Hannah joined our Express team on July 5th, 2016. She has been described as kind, patient, outgoing and is always ready to go the extra mile to ensure our clients and associates are happy with our services. One of her favorite things about working for Express is the positive feeling she gets when an associate comes in to pick up their paycheck and tells her how much they love the job our team was able to provide them.

Before joining our team, Hannah worked as an administrative assistant for a psychologist, and prior to that, she worked as a barista. Originally from Ventura, California, Hannah moved to Portland to attend Portland State University. After obtaining her BA in Social Science, she decided to stay in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and pursue a career that would utilize her passion for people in her community.

When she is not working hard at the office, Hannah can be found doing anything related to crafts. Her favorite crafts are embroidery and making homemade lip balms.

We welcomed Andres to the East Portland Express team in September 2018 and he is currently one of our Employment Specialists. Andres is a self-directed person who values honesty, authenticity, and getting the job done. He also appreciates creativity and making deliberate decisions in order to reach his goals.

Background

Andres was born in Corvallis, Oregon, but grew up in various places-both inside and outside of the U.S. Andres's mother is Columbian, so he spent seven years in Bogota. He also lived in Illinois for six years, lived in Vermont for three years, and has lived here in Portland for the past six years.

Prior to becoming an Express Employment Specialist, Andres worked at Starbucks for nearly three years, and interned at an event company and a software company for a short time. Andres has also done various odd jobs and worked as a brand ambassador.

Interests

Andres loves reading books, working out, and creating some of the most ridiculous comedic music videos you'll ever see! He also enjoys going out to dance and sometimes just staying in to watch movies with friends.

Our East Portland Express team welcomed Sabrina Hostler to the team in November 2018. As a person and employee, she is loud, passionate, and aggressively outgoing - all traits that make her an exceptional Front Office Coordinator!

Background

Sabrina is a native Portlander, having been born and raised here. Before joining the team, Sabrina worked as a banquet server and as a bartender. When she's not serving as the first and last points of contact for our office, you'll find her spending as much time with her family as possible.

Family

Sabrina recently had a baby boy. His name is Ryker Samuel Bird.

Best Skillset

Without a doubt, Sabrina's best skillset is communication.

Sabrina has a turtle named "T-Money". She has had him for 16 years and counting!

East Portland Express welcomed Riley Strong to our team in October 2019 as our Recruiting Specialist. A strong asset to achieving our company goals, Riley always strives for greatness and takes pride in everything she does, no matter the size of the task.

Background

Riley spent most of her childhood in Milwaukie, OR, but after completing college in Eastern Oregon, Riley moved back to the place where she was born - Oregon City. Previous to her employment with Express, Riley had the opportunity to practice her passion of working with children by holding a position as a swim instructor. Later, she became an assistant manager for an aquatics department, where she gained valuable experience and learned how to manage effectively.

Interests

One of Riley's favorite things to do is to spend time with her boyfriend, daughter, and puppy. Whenever outdoor activities are involved, such as swimming, hunting, and fishing, that is even better!

In May of 2019, Linda Nguyen joined our Express Employment team. She currently serves as our Administrative Employment Specialist. Linda strives to never cease pushing herself out of her comfort zone in her professional life, as well as in her personal life. As a strong believer in continuous education, Linda is always seeking ways to improve her skills and knowledge.

Linda is native to the city of Portland, OR and has previous employment experience in human resources

Interests

If she is not reading or making cold brew coffee, you could find Linda taking a long, beautiful hike.

Family

Linda has several nieces and nephews of all different ages, and her mother currently lives in Vietnam.

Katie Mambaje was welcomed onto the East Portland Express team as our Payroll Specialist in August 2019. As a person who enjoys seeing a team function well together, Katie constantly looks for ways to contribute to the success of others, as well as to the success of the company as a whole. Katie is always on the hunt for positive development, both personally and professionally.

Background

Katie lived in Boring, OR near Mt. Hood for 15 years, but is originally from Portland, OR. Prior to joining our team, Katie worked as a coffee barista for 2 years, as well as a driver and dispatcher for Oregon State University.

Interests

Being a member of the Portland Volleyball Association and NWAS Volleyball, Katie enjoys working towards her fitness goals and playing volleyball during her spare time. Back at her farm animal-filled home, she is fond of reading and coming up with new cooking recipes.
