Kathryn Nivison opened the Ithaca Express Employment Professionals office in August, 2013 after working in human resources for over 15 years for several local organizations. Her passion has always been to help individuals find a good job.  Now she is able to align her HR experience with helping companies in our community find great employees as well as helping candidates find their next perfect job. Kathy describes herself as 'living a dream' everyday by touching the lives of others in a positive way.

Currently Kathy serves on the Board of Directors for the Society for Human Resource Management of Tompkins County and is a Member of the Ithaca Rotary Club. In addition, She also volunteers for the Alzheimer's Association of Central New York in their annual Walk to End Alzheimer's held in Ithaca. She also recently completed the Express Leadership Academy, a 3-year program for owners of Express Employment Professionals.

Kathy is grateful for the opportunity to help others and particularly grateful to be part of the Express Employment Professionals organization. She believes that the economic engine of our country is small business and is committed to helping small and mid-size businesses succeed, whether through staffing/recruiting services of Express, or through referrals to other business friends and colleagues in our community.
