The Lansing, MI Express Employment Professionals office was founded in 2000. Lisa Young was passionate about giving back to the Lansing community by helping people find good jobs and businesses find excellent employees. Lisa chose Express for its strong support of its franchises, its training and mentoring. The Lansing office started as a traditional temporary placement firm, and has now expanded to providing people with not only temporary jobs, but careers. Additionally, the Lansing office assists businesses with Human Resource Business Solutions, providing long-term consulting in staff management, employee surveys, and other HR tools. Lisa is committed to providing excellent service in the recruitment, placement, and management areas of a workforce. Lisa is a Michigan native and a Michigan State University Alumni. She stayed true to her MSU roots when she chose Lansing as the location for her business. Lisa had worked for Dow Chemical in marketing and then completed the McDonald's Inc. owner/operator training. Recognizing the difficulty many business have in finding outstanding employees, she decided that her skills and interests could best be utilized in the staffing industry. Lisa opened her still growing business, Express Employment Professionals, in October 2000. Her business has been awarded several Circle of Excellence awards and has been an asset to the Lansing community for 15 years.
