Express Employment Professionals Donates $50,000 to Local Nonprofit
Operation Come H.O.M.E., an Organization Serving Veterans and Their Families, to Receive Donation
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich., July 2015 – Express Employment Professionals, the nation’s largest franchised staffing company, along with its franchise locations in Rochester Hills and Troy, Michigan, are donating $25,000 to Operation Come Home, an organization that is supporting the needs of U.S. veterans and their families.
The donation is part of The Impact Project, an initiative of the company’s philanthropic committee, designed to give back to nonprofits nominated by franchisees among their 725 franchise locations.
“We pride ourselves on having a culture built on giving and service at Express,” said Bob Funk, CEO of Express Employment Professionals. “With that in mind, we know how important it is to support the communities where we work, serve and live. The commitment that Paul LaFrance, our owner in Rochester Hills and Troy, has given to Operation Come Home is a great example of that support.”
Operation Come Home is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization that provides food, shelter, guidance and life-saving services for veterans and their families, along with a 75-unit housing facility that will be built near Pontiac, Michigan. As part of this donation, LaFrance has committed to match the donation from Express with another $25,000 donation to help with funding for the new housing complex.
