Job Description
SRG, an established Professional staffing firm, is seeking an Account Manager / Business Development Manager to build collaborative and supportive relationships with future clients and client partners. They would also maintain very collaborative relationships with a team of consultants to increase satisfaction and successful delivery to various projects/assignments. We desire a candidate with 3-4 years of BDM / Account Management experience with mid-market and large, high-profile clients. Preferably with Technology Staffing Experience.
This would potentially be an Equity/Profit Sharing position for the right Individual.
This position is primarily a liaison between the client, our consultants at the client site, and SRG management, providing a steady line of communication and problem escalation between all levels. Requires experience with account management and personnel management.
Responsibilities for the IT Business Development Manager/ Account Manager position include:
- Establish collaborative partnership with key stakeholders in the Charlotte Market to assess and recommend optimal business and technical solutions
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key client stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Taking a personal interest with ensuring client/consultant satisfaction via on-site personal visits, telephone communications and other appropriate means
- Daily communication with management, and marketers and recruiters as to ongoing issues and resolutions
- Overseeing consultant issues on the job at the client site
Qualifications
Specific qualifications for the IT Business Development Manager/Account Manager position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-4 years of business development experience
- 3-4 years of client account management experience
- 3-4 years of personnel management
- Strong background in IT service industry
- Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Patience, empathy, good listening skills
- Excellent attention to detail and follow through
- Project and time management skills
- Proven ability in problem solving and organization
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Able to communicate well across managerial levels within the client and internal organization
- Able to work positively in a team environment
- Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients, build consensus, and achieve goals through influence.
- Excellent communication skills, negotiation and presentation skills.
