    As the owner of the Express Employment office in Southwest Austin, Mark and his team solve problems for their clients by finding qualified individuals for open positions in a wide range of fields. Mark enjoys filling both technical and professional roles. A Ph.D. graduate with over 15 years of experience in the technical realm of science and engineering, he loves that he can continue to learn new things by talking to candidates and clients about the positions he fills. In college, Mark ran his own painting business which grew his excitement for helping others find jobs.  "I had nine people working for me and many of them were friends of mine.  Providing work for them through my business was one of the best parts of that experience. The ability to do that every day on a much larger scale through Express, while providing great value and service for our clients, is tremendously satisfying".

     

    Mark has called Austin home since 1996. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, sampling Austin's food and music, and coaching, watching, and playing sports

    Operations Manager

    Griffin effortlessly handles the day-to-day operations of our office. An Express Employment team member for two years, he has brought extensive experience and knowledge from the hospitality staffing industry which began as an Operations Assistant Manager in Houston. He moved to Austin with a promotion to Senior Operations Manager, aligning his expectations and desires of growing the business. Griffin strives to provide the best customer service experience while matching candidates with the right positions

     

    In his spare time, Griffin can be found kayak fishing on the many lakes around Austin and dining at new restaurants.

    Michelle has over 25 years of management, consulting, recruiting and coaching experience. As a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation, her experience coaching and developing individuals and teams has provided her the opportunity to assist people in achieving their career goals. Michelle moved to Dripping Springs from Fort Worth in 2017 and has continued to devote herself to developing and delivering consulting to both candidates and clients to help build long-term relationships.

     

    In her spare time, she likes to spend time with family and friends visiting venues in the hill country listening to live music whenever possible. In addition, she likes to watch her youngest daughter race dirt bikes, following in Michelle’s footsteps.

    Catherine comes from a corporate and staffing background with experience in recruiting within multiple industries. She thoroughly enjoys helping others and learning about different cultures and thought processes, which helps her to ensure a successful match between candidates and clients. Catherine has a master’s degree in Asian Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, giving her the opportunity to speak Korean along with Spanish.

    Catherine likes to stay active by playing her favorite sports, which includes Volleyball and Tennis. To relax you will find her on the couch binging Netflix and eating ice cream with family and friends.

    Diana spent most of her life in Salt Lake City, UT and recently relocated to Austin to be closer to her family. Diana’s background includes working in Marketing for over 10 years before moving to an HR Generalist role. Diana joined our team in October of 2022 and has been instrumental in helping us provide the best outcomes for our clients and candidates.

     

    In her spare time, she enjoys camping and spending time with her family.
