    Tyler McBean
    Tyler McBean

    Co-Owner

    Tyler became co-owner of the Express Sarnia office in August 2022. Originally from Camlachie, he graduated from Lambton College's Millwright Mechanical Technician program and is currently enrolled in Executive Education at Queen's University. After graduating from college, Tyler worked for Fibrex Insulations, Allerion Oilfield Services, and Phoenix Safety & Rescue Services before working with Clean Harbors in Fort McMurray and eventually becoming CEDA's general manager of operations in Sarnia. His career has come full circle, as he worked as an Express associate earlier in his career and is now co-owner of the franchise.

    Tyler's favourite thing about his role is seeing people succeed as they find meaningful careers. He also loves seeing happy clients after his team has found the right person to fit their needs. When he's not working, Tyler enjoys golfing and supporting his family with their hobbies of hockey, soccer, and skating.

    Sue Burgel
    Sue Burgel

    Co-Owner and Controller

    Following a nine-year career in the automotive industry, Sue began her next chapter at Express in August of 2020 as our controller, becoming an owner in August of 2022. She came to us with more than 25 years of management and accounting experience ranging from retail to automotive to manufacturing. Before joining the Express team, Sue served as the controller for four car dealerships between Sarnia and Wallaceburg, bringing her expertise to a very fast-paced environment.

    She grew up in both Tillsonburg and London but has been a Camlachie resident for over 25 years. Sue (a Leafs fan) and her husband (a Habs fan) have been together for 35 years and have two grown sons. Outside of work, she can be found sailing with family and friends, reading, or gardening.

    Jessica Martin

    Co-Owner and Operations and Recruitment Manager

    Jessica joined our team as an employment specialist in September of 2018, eventually taking on an ownership role in August of 2022. Before starting at Express, she spent 20 years in marketing management with both OLG Casino and Starlight Casino in Point Edward, gaining experience in a wide variety of departments. Her days are now spent connecting talent and companies in professional fields such as engineering, manufacturing, and technical, as well as leading our team with a focus on sales, service, and recruiting/retention.

    She is a Program Advisory Committee member for the CPET (Chemical Production & Power Engineering Technology), MTIM (Millwright Mechanical Technician), Process Piping Design, and Welding Techniques programs at Lambton College. Outside the office, Jessica is kept busy with kids and their activities.

    Tyler Whitbread

    Co-Owner and Business Development

    Tyler began his career at Express in August 2020 before becoming an owner in August 2022. Originally from Camlachie, he graduated from Indiana State University in Terre Haute with a Bachelor of Science in sport management and a minor in business administration. In addition to earning a coveted baseball scholarship to the school, Tyler played baseball for Team Canada, where he had the privilege of representing Canada in Australia and Japan. 

    He worked as part of the Indiana Pacers sales team and continues to volunteer his time running baseball camps for kids. He is also a recipient of the mayor's Community Appreciation Award. Contact Tyler today and allow him to help you with your skilled trades employment needs.

    Nicole Davis

    Employment Specialist - Professional

    Nicole became a member of the Express team in May of 2021. She grew up in Sarnia and attended Westervelt College in London for travel and tourism. Prior to entering the staffing industry, Nicole worked as a travel agent and office manager and comes to Express with 16 years of experience in a fast-paced environment. Her favourite part of her job is connecting her associates with great companies.

    Outside of work, Nicole loves spending time with her two boys and enjoying the area's beautiful beaches. She also likes travelling and going to concerts with family and friends. Reach out to Nicole with any administrative staffing questions or needs.

    Tori Chafe

    Employment Specialist - Skilled Trade

    Tori joined the Express Team in September 2022. Tori was born and raised in Sarnia, and she attended local French schools, where she graduated with advanced language skills in French, both spoken and written. Tori relocated to Oshawa, where she attended Ontario Tech University, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Forensic Psychology with a specialization in Addiction Counselling.

    Outside of work, Tori enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and travelling when she can! In the summer, you can find her at the beach playing volleyball, and in the winter, you can find her in the mountains snowboarding.

    Shyanne Nadobny

    Employment Specialist - Office Services

    Shyanne became a member of the Express team in March of 2022. She grew up in the small town of Renfrew, Ontario and attended Algonquin College in Ottawa for office administration. Prior to starting in the staffing industry, Shyanne spent 11 years in the managerial and customer service industries and comes to Express with a wealth of experience in fast-paced environments. 

    When she is not at the office, Shyanne enjoys spending her time with her spouse and three cats, Linda, Tiger, and Ralph. She volunteers at the Sarnia & District Humane Society and enjoys giving back to the community. Shyanne also likes travelling, spending time with family and friends, and going to the beautiful local beaches.     Jill McBean

    Marketing Coordinator

    Jill joined the Express Sarnia team in September 2022. Growing up in Sarnia, she attended St. Christopher's Secondary School and then Lambton College, where she studied early childhood education. Prior to joining our office, Jill worked at Marriott, helping people to book their dream vacations. In her current role, she enjoys the fast pace and excitement, along with the fun of using her creative side.

    Outside of work, Jill loves to travel with her family, as well as boating and beach days. Family is everything to her, and she can often be found at the hockey rink or on the soccer pitch watching her two sons play.

    Lucy Tranter

    Payroll Administrator

    Joining the Express Sarnia team in November of 2021, Lucy brings extensive experience to her role as payroll administrator. Born and raised in Sarnia, she graduated from St. Pat's before attending Lambton College, where she received her diploma in radio, television, and journalism. Lucy later earned her bookkeeping certificate from Fanshawe College and is currently working towards her PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) designation. She is also a member of the National Payroll Institute.  

    Prior to joining our team, Lucy worked in the restoration industry in a variety of positions, including administrative assistant, bookkeeper, and office manager. In her current job, her favourite part is ensuring all associates are paid accurately and on time every week.   

    When not at work, Lucy enjoys spending time with friends and family, including her husband of 32 years, son, daughter, son-in-law, grand-fur baby, and their rescue dog.     Kelly Greaves

    Front Office Coordinator

    In her role as Front Office Coordinator, Kelly is both welcoming and knowledgeable about our services. She has been providing a warm welcome and sincere service to our clients, associates, and applicants since joining our team in May 2012. Born and raised in Sarnia, Kelly attended St. Clair High School. She returned to the Sarnia area in 2012 after living in Northern Ontario for several years.

    Kelly believes family comes first and spending time with her two children and extended family is what matters most. She was recently recognized with a nomination for the Outstanding Customer Service Award at the Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Business Achievement Awards.
