    Bruce 2020
    Bruce Hein

    Owner

    With 40 years of business experience, Bruce has owned and managed multiple businesses in the Sarnia area. As a Certified Sales Professional and Certified Sales Leader from the Canadian Professional Sales Association, he purchased a local independent staffing company called Best Personnel in May of 2000. This company joined the Express Employment Professionals franchise family in 2006 and has since helped more than 6,000 people find work in the Sarnia-Lambton area, becoming one of the leading Express franchises in Canada.

    In 2008, Bruce opened his second Express franchise in Brantford. His ISO-certified office is currently a member of the Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce, SLIA (Sarnia-Lambton Industrial Alliance), ACSESS (Association of Canadian Search, Employment & Staffing Services), ACSESS Safety Group, is certified by the IEC (Industrial Educational Cooperative), and is a Certified Military Friendly Employer through Canada Company. Express and the Sarnia office have also received ClearlyRated's Best of Staffing Client and Talent Awards for client and associate satisfaction, a designation earned by fewer than 2% of staffing firms in North America.

    In 2019, Bruce was the proud recipient of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Business Achievement Awards. He and his team are active community supporters and are involved with many local charities and nonprofit organizations. Bruce is a member of the Program Advisory Committee for Lambton College's Workplace Safety & Prevention program and recently retired from his position as Chair of the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership Board of Directors.

    Throughout the years, he has also been involved with the Rotary Club of Sarnia, Southwest Economic Alliance, Chamber of Commerce, and Lambton College Foundation. In his spare time, Bruce enjoys golfing, travelling, and spending time with his family.

    Employment Specialist - professional

    Jessica joined our team as an employment specialist in September of 2018. Before starting at Express, she spent 20 years as a customer relations manager with Starlight Casino in Point Edward, gaining experience in a wide variety of departments. Her days are now spent connecting talent and companies in professional fields.

    She is a Program Advisory Committee member for the CPET (Chemical Production & Power Engineering Technology), MTIM (Millwright Mechanical Technician), Process Piping Design, and Welding Techniques programs at Lambton College. Outside the office, Jessica is kept busy with kids and their activities.

    When she has time, she enjoys travelling anywhere hot, cooking, yoga, and volleyball. Whether you are looking for your next career opportunity or are considering adding a professional to your team, Jessica would be pleased to connect with you.

    Tyler Whitbread
    Tyler Whitbread

    Employment Specialist - skilled trades

    Tyler began his career at Express in August 2020. Originally from Camlachie, he recently graduated from Indiana State University in Terre Haute with a Bachelor of Science in sport management and a minor in business administration. In addition to earning a coveted baseball scholarship to the school, Tyler played baseball for Team Canada, where he had the privilege of representing Canada in Australia and Japan. 

    He worked as part of the Indiana Pacers sales team and continues to volunteer his time running baseball camps for kids. He is also a recipient of the mayor's Community Appreciation Award. Contact Tyler today and allow him to help you with your skilled trades employment needs.

    Nicole Davis

    Employment Specialist - office services

    Nicole became a member of the Express team in May of 2021. She grew up in Sarnia and attended Westervelt College in London for travel and tourism. Prior to entering the staffing industry, Nicole worked as a travel agent and office manager and comes to Express with 16 years of experience in a fast-paced environment. Her favourite part of her job is connecting her associates with great companies.

    Outside of work, Nicole loves spending time with her two boys and enjoying the area's beautiful beaches. She also likes travelling and going to concerts with family and friends. Reach out to Nicole with any administrative staffing questions or needs.

    Tammy Witcher

    Employment Specialist - light industrial

    Tammy started with the Express Sarnia team in May 2021. Born and raised in Sarnia, she studied human services foundation at Fanshawe College in London, before returning to Sarnia and graduating from Lambton College's Hospitality Management program. Upon graduation, she was fortunate enough to gain employment in the marketing industry, where she spent the first 19 years of her career. 

    Tammy brings a wealth of knowledge and diverse skills to her role, where she connects job seekers with light industrial positions. As a past member of Toastmasters International, she is an accomplished public speaker with strong communication and leadership skills. 

    When Tammy is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, Woody. She is an advocate for the Sarnia Humane Society and has adopted and fostered numerous animals over the years. Exercise helps Tammy maintain her positive attitude, so she always finds time in her day to be active. She enjoys hiking with her dog, going to the beach, and spending time with her friends and family at the cottage.     Kelsey Dunn

    Recruiting Specialist

    Joining the Express team in March of 2021, Kelsey has a background in hospitality and has worked in some of the most popular restaurants in Canada. She was born and raised in Sarnia, attended St. Christopher's High School, and then went on to Brock University to earn a Bachelor of Arts in business communication. After ten years away from Sarnia, she decided to come back home to be closer to her friends and family.

    In her role as a recruiting specialist, she puts her intuition to work and skillfully matches great people with great jobs. She has taken on other key elements of our business including some health and safety, events, and marketing, building her diverse portfolio.

    Sue Burgel

    Controller

    Following a nine-year career in the automotive industry, Sue began her next chapter at Express in August of 2020. She comes to us with more than 25 years of accounting experience ranging from retail to automotive to manufacturing. Before joining the Express team, Sue served as the controller for four car dealerships between Sarnia and Wallaceburg, bringing her expertise to a very fast-paced environment.

    She grew up in both Tillsonburg and London but has been a Camlachie resident for over 25 years. Sue (a Leafs fan) and her husband (a Habs fan) have been together for 35 years and have two grown sons. Outside of work, she can be found sailing with family and friends, reading, or gardening.

    Kelly Greaves

    Front Office Coordinator

    In her role as Front Office Coordinator, Kelly is both welcoming and knowledgeable about our services. She has been providing a warm welcome and sincere service to our clients, associates, and applicants since joining our team in May 2012. Born and raised in Sarnia, Kelly attended St. Clair High School. She returned to the Sarnia area in 2012 after living in Northern Ontario for several years.

    Kelly believes family comes first and spending time with her two children and extended family is what matters most. She also enjoys volunteering her time to local causes. Kelly was recently recognized with a nomination for the Outstanding Customer Service Award at the Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Business Achievement Awards.
