    Bruce Hein


    With 40 years of business experience, Bruce has owned and managed multiple businesses in the Sarnia area. As a Certified Sales Professional and Certified Sales Leader from the Canadian Professional Sales Association, he purchased a local independent staffing company called Best Personnel in May of 2000. This company joined the Express Employment Professionals franchise family in 2006 and has since helped more than 6,000 people find work in the Sarnia-Lambton area, becoming one of the leading Express franchises in Canada.

    In 2008, Bruce opened his second Express franchise in Brantford. His ISO certified office is currently a member of the Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce, SLIA (Sarnia-Lambton Industrial Alliance), ACSESS (Association of Canadian Search, Employment & Staffing Services), ACSESS Safety Group, is certified by the IEC (Industrial Educational Cooperative), and is a Certified Military Friendly Employer through Canada Company. Express and the Sarnia office have also received ClearlyRated's Best of Staffing Client and Talent Awards for client and associate satisfaction, a designation earned by fewer than 2% of staffing firms in North America.

    In 2019, Bruce was the proud recipient of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Business Achievement Awards. He and his team are active community supporters and are involved with many local charities and nonprofit organizations. Bruce is a member of the Program Advisory Committee for Lambton College's Workplace Safety & Prevention program and recently retired from his position as Chair of the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership Board of Directors.

    Throughout the years, he has also been involved with the Rotary Club of Sarnia, Southwest Economic Alliance, Chamber of Commerce, and Lambton College Foundation. Bruce is married and has a son, who also works in the business. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, travelling, and spending time with his family.

    Business Development Specialist

    Cody is our business development specialist and joined the Sarnia team in July of 2020. Born in Elliot Lake, Cody grew up in Sarnia, where he graduated from the Lambton College Business Administration - Marketing program. Cody's background consists of sales and marketing experience as a licensed insurance agent and in property management and real estate.

    When he is not at work, Cody enjoys anything outdoors, including camping, wakeboarding, and concerts. He is passionate about animals and likes to volunteer at Heaven's Wildlife Rescue in Oil Springs when he can.     Employment Specialist

    Jessica joined our team as an employment specialist in September of 2018. Before starting at Express, she spent 20 years as a customer relations manager with Starlight Casino in Point Edward, gaining experience in a wide variety of departments. Her days are now spent connecting talent and companies in skilled trades and professional fields.

    She also is a Program Advisory Committee member for the CPET (Chemical Production & Power Engineering Technology), MTIM (Millwright Mechanical Technician), Process Piping Design, and Welding Techniques programs at Lambton College. Outside the office, Jessica is kept busy with kids and their activities.

    Melissa Dally

    Employment Specialist

    Melissa joined the Express team in February of 2019 as a recruiting specialist before moving into her current employment specialist role. Raised in Brights Grove, Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo.

    She then returned to Sarnia to attend Lambton College's Human Resources Management program, from which she graduated in December 2018. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys attending HRPA (Human Resources Professionals Association) events and recently earned her CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) designation.

    She also loves hanging out with her dogs and is an avid basketball and volleyball player. If you are seeking an office services job or employee, Melissa would be happy to assist you.

    Employment Specialist

    Tyler began his career at Express in August 2020. Originally from Camlachie, he recently graduated from Indiana State University in Terre Haute with a Bachelor of Science in sport management and a minor in business administration. In addition to earning a coveted baseball scholarship to the school, Tyler played baseball for Team Canada, where he had the privilege of representing Canada in Australia and Japan. Tyler loves all things sports.

    He worked as part of the Indiana Pacers sales team and continues to volunteer his time running baseball camps for kids. He is also a recipient of the mayor's Community Appreciation Award. Contact Tyler today and allow him to help you with your light industrial employment needs.

    Director of Marketing and Communications

    Garrett first joined the Express Sarnia team as a summer student in 2009 and is now our Director of Marketing and Communications. A 2014 graduate of Lambton College's Business Administration - Marketing program, he brings our business up-to-date strategies in public relations and communications.

    Garrett enjoys networking and training opportunities and is currently the Program Advisory Committee Chair for Lambton College's Business program, a Community Advisory Panel member at Bluewater Health, a member of the City of Sarnia's Age-Friendly Committee, and recently finished serving on the Lambton College Alumni Association Board of Directors. One of his proudest accomplishments is bringing the world-renowned Express Clydesdales to the Brigden Fair.

    Garrett was also recently recognized with Express's Marketing and Public Relations Award and with a nomination for the Marketing & Promotion Award at the Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Business Achievement Awards.     Sue Burgel


    Following a nine-year career in the automotive industry, Sue began her next chapter at Express in August of 2020. She comes to us with more than 25 years of accounting experience ranging from retail to automotive to manufacturing. Before joining the Express team, Sue served as the controller for four car dealerships between Sarnia and Wallaceburg, bringing her expertise to a very fast-paced environment.

    She grew up in both Tillsonburg and London but has been a Camlachie resident for over 25 years. Sue (a Leafs fan) and her husband (a Habs fan) have been together for 35 years and have two grown sons. Outside of work, she can be found sailing with family and friends, reading, or gardening.

    Payroll Administrator

    Vikki became our Payroll Administrator in January 2019. She grew up in the Petrolia/Wyoming area, eventually spending ten years as a manager in a customer service environment before returning to school. Vikki graduated with honours from her accounting and payroll administration program before earning her PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) certification.

    Front Office Coordinator

    In her role as Front Office Coordinator, Kelly is both welcoming and knowledgeable about our services. She has been providing a warm welcome and sincere service to our clients, associates, and applicants since joining our team in May 2012. Born and raised in Sarnia, Kelly attended St. Clair High School. She returned to the Sarnia area in 2012 after living in Northern Ontario for several years.

    Kelly believes family comes first and spending time with her two children and extended family is what matters most. She is also active in her church and enjoys volunteering her time to Sarnia Blessings. Kelly was recently recognized with a nomination for the Outstanding Customer Service Award at the Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Business Achievement Awards.
