Packaging Operator
💰 Pay:
Training Period (4–5 weeks): $18.54/hour (Day Shift, Monday – Friday)
After Training: $19.04/hour (Rotating 12-hour Shifts)

Job Overview
Express Employment Professionals is hiring Packaging Operators for a manufacturing facility in Foley. This position is responsible for operating packaging equipment, performing quality inspections, and following safety and production standards in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule
🕒 Rotating 12-hour shifts (Day & Night)
3-2-2 DuPont Schedule
Must be available Monday – Sunday, including nights and weekends.
Example Schedule:
- Days 1–3: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Days 4–5: Off
- Days 6–7: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Days 8–10: Off
- Schedule repeats on a rotating basis
Responsibilities
✅ Operate packaging and material handling equipment safely
✅ Perform visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met
✅ Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and 5S standards
✅ Maintain a clean and organized work area
✅ Manage and dispose of waste and materials properly
✅ Follow all safety and quality procedures
Requirements
✅ Previous manufacturing experience preferred
✅ High School Diploma or GED
✅ Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
✅ Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to learn)
✅ Strong work ethic and positive attitude
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Reliable attendance and punctuality
✅ Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
