Job Title: Local Class A CDL Driver (No Overnights)
Salary: $20 - $25 an hour
Position Summary: We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Local CDL Driver to join our team. This position involves local route driving only—you’ll be home every night. The ideal candidate is a licensed Class A CDL holder with a clean driving record and a commitment to delivering goods safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles to transport goods locally.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers and distribution centers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Load and unload cargo as required (manual or with equipment).
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A license.
- Clean MVR and driving record.
- Minimum 2-3 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to operate liftgates, pallet jacks, or forklifts (training provided if needed).
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Day shifts with routes returning home daily
- Average daily hours: 8–10
