Job Title: Carpenter
Location: Daphne, AL (Job sites are all over Baldwin County, AL)
Pay Range: $18 – $25 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30/4:00 PM (8–9 hours/day)
Hours: 40–50 hours per week, with occasional overtime or Saturday work for weather makeups
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Outdoor Carpenter with solid experience in rough carpentry, especially in building decks, pergolas, and pavilions. While inside carpentry experience is welcome, this role is primarily outdoors and requires a willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct and install decks, pergolas, pavilions, and other outdoor structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials accurately
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to high standards
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience in rough outdoor carpentry
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders or elevated surfaces
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- A good driving record is a plus and may qualify for higher pay and use of a company truck
