Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our assembly team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and painting golf cart bodies and components to meet quality and finish standards. This role is essential to ensuring our products look great and are protected for long-term use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and cleaning
- Mix and apply paint using spray guns and other equipment
- Inspect painted surfaces for quality and consistency
- Touch up and rework areas as needed
- Maintain painting tools and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Work closely with assembly and production teams to meet deadlines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive or industrial painting preferred
- Familiarity with spray painting techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
