Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: Loxley, AL
Pay: $18–$20/hour DOE, with potential for pay increases over time
Shift: Must be available for days and night shift
About the Role
We’re hiring Skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team at our newest facility, built and opened within the last six months. This is a hands-on role working in tight quarters, loading and sorting metal scrap material using heavy machinery. If you have experience operating Track Hoes, Front-End Loaders, or Material Handlers, this is a high-impact opportunity with room to grow.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including Track Hoe, Front-End Loader, and Material Handler
- Load, move, and sort metal scrap materials in confined workspaces
- Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Follow safety protocols and site procedures at all times
- Work closely with team members to ensure efficient material handling
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- Prior experience operating Track Hoe and Front-End Loader preferred
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in close quarters
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment and procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
