Print Production Technician October 21, 2025

Print Production Technician

🔧 Key Responsibilities

· Review factory tickets and print cards for accuracy before production

· Verify that all orders include proper Box Manufacturer’s Certificate (BMC) and identification for printing

· Inspect and clean printing plates and cutting dies prior to machine use

· Make quality control decisions before passing products to the next operation

· Return printing plates and cutting dies to their designated storage locations after use

· Maintain and manage the ink inventory program, ensuring sufficient quality ink is available at all machines

· Order ink supplies as needed and track inventory levels

· Maintain an organized numbering system for all dies

· Assist with customer service inquiries related to ink, printing plates, and cutting dies

· Follow established operating procedures for all tasks

· Communicate positively and productively with team members and other departments

· Report safety or quality concerns to supervisors or maintenance personnel

· Keep machine areas clean by removing unused printing plates, cutting dies, and ink during all shifts

🧠 Knowledge & Requirements

· Ability to read and understand measurements using a tape measure and other measuring tools

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred

· Minimum one year of experience in the corrugated or packaging industry preferred

· Ability to read and comprehend English instructions on production orders

· Adherence to all company policies, procedures, and plant safety rules

· Physical ability to lift between 10 and 100 pounds

· Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and stand for long periods
