Job Overview
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Concrete Mixer Truck Driver to deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites throughout Baldwin County. This position requires a safety-focused driver who can operate heavy equipment, follow DOT regulations, and provide professional service to customers.
Responsibilities
✅ Operate a concrete mixer truck safely and efficiently
✅ Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
✅ Deliver and unload concrete at assigned job sites
✅ Follow dispatch instructions and delivery schedules
✅ Assemble and operate concrete chutes for unloading
✅ Wash and maintain truck after deliveries
✅ Identify and report safety concerns or maintenance needs
✅ Assist with yard cleanup and other duties as needed
Requirements
✅ Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean driving record
✅ Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience (construction or ready-mix preferred)
✅ Ability to safely operate heavy vehicles
✅ Knowledge of DOT regulations and traffic laws
✅ Ability to climb, lift, and perform physical tasks as needed
✅ Strong communication and time-management skills
Work Environment
✅ Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
✅ Early morning schedules with occasional overtime
✅ Combination of driving and physical labor
