Job Title: Property Custodian / Maintenance Assistant
Pay: $17 an hour
Schedule: Wednesday – Sunday (Off Monday and Tuesday)
Location: Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, AL
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Custodian / Maintenance Assistant to help maintain and care for our properties. This role involves routine upkeep, minor repairs, and inspecting properties to ensure they remain safe and well-maintained. Training will be provided for certain tasks, so this position is a great opportunity for someone eager to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform light custodial duties such as cleaning, trash removal, and general upkeep
- Inspect properties for damage or safety hazards and report issues
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, painting safety stripes on stairs or parking lots, and minor repairs
- Assist with other maintenance tasks as assigned
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Qualifications
- Willingness to learn and be trained in light maintenance tasks
- Ability to work Wednesday through Sunday consistently
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
- Ability to lift and carry moderate weight and perform physical tasks as needed
