CAD Technician – Aluminum Canopy Design (Entry Level)

Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a growing, locally owned company that specializes in the design and fabrication of aluminum canopies.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with CAD schooling or coursework who wants hands-on experience creating real-world designs and building a long-term career.
What You’ll Do
- Create CAD drawings for aluminum canopies, including layouts, dimensions, and basic structural components
- Modify and update drawings based on project needs and field measurements
- Work closely with the owner and fabrication team to ensure designs are clear and build-ready
- Learn company standards, materials, and fabrication processes specific to aluminum canopy systems
- Maintain organized and accurate drawing files for ongoing projects
This role focuses on straightforward CAD work. Someone with basic CAD knowledge can learn the specifics of aluminum canopy design quickly.
Schedule
- Monday – Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Includes 1-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks
Pay & Benefits
- $30/hour
