Job Full Description
Job Title: Auto Glass Technician / Shop Technician
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: Starting at $18/hour or more, depending on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined individual to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills and a background in mechanical work. Auto glass experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with shop cleanup and organization
- Check in and inventory parts and glass deliveries
- Enter parts and job information into the system
- Perform mechanical work related to auto glass installation (training provided if no prior glass experience)
- Install and replace headliners
- Perform vehicle recalibration using computer software
- Support technicians with daily shop tasks
Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude (required)
- Auto glass experience (preferred, not required)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new software and recalibration systems
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Valid driver’s license preferred
