Pay: $17 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Drywall Finisher. This position is responsible for finishing drywall surfaces to a smooth, paint-ready appearance in residential or commercial settings. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with taping, mudding, sanding, and patching drywall.
Key Responsibilities
- Tape and finish drywall seams and joints
- Apply joint compound (mud) to walls and ceilings
- Sand and smooth surfaces to prepare for painting or texturing
- Patch holes and repair damaged drywall
- Match existing textures when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety guidelines and job site procedures
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Previous drywall finishing experience preferred
- Knowledge of drywall tools and materials
- Ability to lift and carry materials as needed
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
