NOW HIRING: Bookkeeper / Project Administrator
📍 Gulf Shores, AL
Express is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Bookkeeper/Project Administrator to join our Clients team! This is a great opportunity for someone with construction bookkeeping or administrative experience who enjoys staying organized, working with numbers, and keeping projects moving forward.
What You'll Do

Manage project bookkeeping, expenses, invoices, payments, and budgets

Review vendor invoices and subcontractor pay applications

Maintain accurate project WIP (Work in Progress) records

Collect and maintain vendor/subcontractor documents, including W-9s and COIs
-
Assist with permits, inspections, audits, and year-end 1099 processing

Coordinate calendars, schedules, and project deadlines
-
Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, inspectors, owners, and municipalities
-
Manage project tasks and databases using Asana and other company systems
-
Support the Project Manager and leadership team with administrative needs
What We're Looking For

Construction bookkeeping/accounting experience preferred

Experience with QuickBooks Online

Strong Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Gmail, and Zoom skills

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

Strong communication and customer service skills

Able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Reliable, professional, and dependable

High school diploma or associate's degree required
Schedule & Location
-
Primarily based out of the Gulf Shores office
-
Some travel to local job sites and municipal offices required
-
Primarily serving Baldwin County, with most work within 20 miles of Gulf Shores
-
30–40 hours per week
-
Schedule may range from Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM or 8 AM–2 PM

Some remote/off-site flexibility available
