Job Full Description
We have an opening for a Flat Rolled Steel Processing position working at a steel fabricating facility located in Athens, AL. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time placement.
Skills/Qualifications
Must have 2 years of continuous employment for at least one company.
Previous experience operating a forklift and/or overhead crane is plus.
Must have a willingness to learn and ability to follow instructions.
Must be capable of working an entire work week on a consistent basis.
Must have a working command of the English language.
Must be a self-starter and capable of performing tasks with limited supervision.
Punctuality and dependability.
Ability to lift 50 lb. unassisted.
Duties/Responsibilities
Perform entry-level tasks on a flat rolled steel processing line, such as material handling, banding and packaging, managing scrap.
Perform job duties in an efficient and responsible manner.
