Poultry Grading Technician (B288)
Express Employment Professionals in Decatur AL is currently hiring for a poultry grading technician for a company located in Elkmont, AL. Position is full-time and has potential for long term employment.
Skills and Experience Required:
• Must be able to work with live birds
• Will be required to collect birds for moving, grading, weighing and vaccinations
• Must be able to work with live animals and the associated environment
• Collect blood samples, band/tag or remove tags from birds
• Must follow Animal Care Standards, Animal Welfare Guidelines, and Bio-Security polies and procedures
• Ability to work with chemicals such as detergents, disinfects, etc.
• Must perform essential duties in a safe and efficient manner as trained
• Must be able to be around farm related smells or odors and loud/noisy environment
• May work up to 6 days a week, including weekends and holidays
