Job Full Description
We have an opening for a Warehouse Worker position working at a building materials supplier located in Athens, AL. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time placement.
Skills/Qualifications
Previous warehouse and forklift experience is REQUIRED.
Must be able to operate other warehouse machinery.
Must be able to communicate effectively with management and/or other team members.
Ability to lift 50 lb. unassisted.
Duties/Responsibilities
Prepare customer orders in an efficient and accurate manner.
Pull materials and place in appropriate area for customer pick up or delivery.
Load and unload trucks using a forklift as necessary.
Provide friendly customer service when called upon to do so.
Maintain inventory controls through minimizing material damage and ensuring order accuracy.
Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policy.
Organize the warehouse and manage bin locations.
Establish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service.
Ensure equipment is maintained to company operating standards.
