Job Full Description
We have an opening for a Driver/Mover/Packer position working at a family-owned moving company located in Decatur, AL. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time placement.
Skills/Qualifications
Must have a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record (MVR).
Must have the physical stamina to lift and carry heavy objects throughout the day.
Availability and willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends.
Ability to lift 100 lb. unassisted.
Duties/Responsibilities
Safely operate a 26-foot moving truck, perform daily truck inspections, and complete paperwork with customers.
Load and unload items from our moving trucks, ensuring that they are properly secured and transported safely.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure a smooth and successful move.
Use your problem-solving skills to navigate tight spaces, tricky corners, and other challenges that may arise during the move.
Provide friendly and professional customer service to our clients, answering questions and addressing concerns as needed.
Ensure that all necessary equipment, such as dollies and moving blankets are used properly.
