Job Full Description
We have an opening for a Warehouse Team Lead position working at a company located in Tanner, AL, that provides MRO crib management and distribution center services to the automotive industry. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time placement.

Skills/Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years forklift experience is REQUIRED.
Minimum of 2 years leadership experience is REQUIRED.
Basic math skills are required.
Must be flexible to work any schedule, with potential daily overtime and some weekends.
Must be capable of working an entire work week on a consistent basis.
Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
Ability to stand, walk, squat, stoop for 8 to 12-hour shifts.
Ability to follow written work instructions.
Punctuality and dependability.
Duties/Responsibilities
Supervise a team of 3-7 team members.
Focus on continual improvement and operational efficiency through excellence in receiving, identifying, inspecting, and assurance of quality and inventory control of inbound and outbound shipments.
Measure and report the effectiveness of activities and employee performance.
Communicate job expectations and coach employees.
Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems.
Maintain records, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status.
Review and communicate changes needed to established Work Instructions (WIS) as needed; continually analyze for areas to improve existing processes.
Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
Set clear team goals.
Oversee day-to-day operation.
Discover training needs and provide coaching.
Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
Ensure the safety of the team members assigned to your area of responsibility.
Ensure defects are within company standards as well as all other key performance indicators.
Ensure all team members are following the posted work instructions.
Maintain a clean and organized the working areas following 5S methodology.
