Job Full Description
We have an opening for a Contents Restoration Technician position working at a cleanup and restoration company located in Athens, AL. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time placement.
Skills/Qualifications
Prior cleaning, restoration, or laundry experience preferred but not required.
Must have a high attention to detail and quality of work.
Ability to follow processes and instructions consistently.
Must be capable of and willing to work with cleaning chemicals and restoration equipment in a warehouse setting, with exposure to cleaning agents, soot, and mold-damaged items.
Must be capable of working.
Ability to lift up to 40 lb. and stand for extended periods.
Must have reliable attendance and punctuality.
Must be willing to wear PPE when necessary.
Duties/Responsibilities
Clean and restore contents damaged by fire, smoke, soot, and mold.
Perform detailed hand cleaning of household items, furniture, and personal belongings.
Operate laundry equipment to clean and deodorize textiles (clothing, linens, etc.).
Pack, label, and organize contents for storage and return.
Follow proper handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse workspace.
Follow safety protocols and use PPE as required.
Assist with inventory tracking and documentation.
