Job Full Description
We have an opening for a Customer Service Representative position working at locally owned plumbing services company located in Decatur, AL. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time placement.

Skills/Qualifications
A stable and proven track record in the customer service field is REQUIRED.
Excellent verbal communication to explain simple solutions and active listening to understand the root cause of the plumbing issue.
Skilled in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and comfortable learning new CRM software for customer history.
Proficient in managing multi-line phone systems and scheduling software (e.g., ServiceTitan) to match the right technician with the job.
A foundational understanding of plumbing terminology, fixtures, and issues (e.g., water heaters, drain cleaning) to properly assess and quote service needs.
Ability to cross-sell or upsell service contracts, maintenance, and higher-tier products during calls.
Ability to distinguish between routine maintenance and emergency repairs to prioritize the service board effectively.
Must be capable of working an entire work week on a consistent basis.
Punctuality and dependability.
Duties/Responsibilities
Answering incoming calls to diagnose service needs and booking appointments.
Informing technicians of job assignments using GPS tracking software.
Performing outbound calls to survey completed work and secure repeat business.
Maintaining accurate customer databases.
Assist with other office duties as required.
