Purchasing & Logistic Agent

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Research potential vendors
  • Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
  • Interact with suppliers on a day-to-day basis
  • Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Process orders and enter order details (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
  • Handle non supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged goods
  • Schedule deliveries for supplies, materials, equipment and services.
  • Process invoices

Skills:

  • Manufacturing background desired
  • ERP knowledge preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced multinational environment
  • Works well with deadlines
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Some college preferred
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
