Purchasing & Logistic Agent
Duties & Responsibilities
- Research potential vendors
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
- Interact with suppliers on a day-to-day basis
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Process orders and enter order details (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
- Handle non supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged goods
- Schedule deliveries for supplies, materials, equipment and services.
- Process invoices
Skills:
- Manufacturing background desired
- ERP knowledge preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Attention to detail
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced multinational environment
- Works well with deadlines
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Some college preferred
- Must be able to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
