Job Posting: Fabricator / General Laborer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Hours: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Job Type: Evaluation to Hire (Full-Time potential)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Fabricator / General Laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will start by cleaning and polishing welds, and then receive training to use hand grinders to remove excess material from welds.
If selected for full-time employment, you will receive additional training to operate a miter bandsaw, pipe threading machine, and assist with all phases of fabrication, including reading work orders, setup sheets, and blueprints to prepare materials for welding.
Key Responsibilities:

Clean and polish welds

Train to use hand grinders to remove excess material

Operate miter bandsaw to cut materials to specified lengths

Operate pipe threading machine

Read and interpret setup sheets, work orders, and drawings

Prepare materials for welding processes

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment

Perform general labor and support other fabrication tasks as needed
Requirements:

2–3 years of relevant experience

Ability to read and understand measurements accurately
- Quality control checks

Knowledge of basic machinery, tools, gauges, and production processes

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
