Production Supervisor

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Salary: $65,000/year
Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven production supervisor to support our production manager in meeting both internal and external customer expectations. This role requires leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive efficiency, quality, and safety across production operations.
Key Responsibilities

Support production manager with strategic planning and daily operations

Attend daily production meetings and communicate issues that could impact delivery schedules

Ensure products meet quality specifications and standards

Optimize manpower and machinery utilization to minimize downtime and maximize production output

Partner with quality and continuous improvement teams to implement effective production methods

Recruit and develop employees, supported by HR, to build a motivated and high-performing team

Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with company health and safety policies
-
Manage attendance, schedules, labor hours, and employee information via ADP
-
Collaborate with other production supervisors to ensure consistent results across all lines

Identify training needs and work with trainers to address skill gaps
-
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, housekeeping, and process adherence
-
Address employee performance issues and enforce accountability per company policies

Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, production flow, and quality
-
Demonstrate company core values and maintain safety standards, escalating unresolved issues

Support risk assessments and implement mitigation plans to reduce workplace incidents

Drive KPIs to minimize waste and optimize product output

Work extended hours during peak season- end of the year
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred

3+ years of leadership/supervisory experience in production, manufacturing, or distribution environments preferred

Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills

Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills

Proficiency in MS Office

Ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members consistently and fairly

Strong focus on quality, safety, and achieving production targets

Team player with the ability to collaborate at all organizational levels

Ability to work extended hours when required
