Position: Extrusion Operator
Pay Rate: Starting at $17/hour
Shift: 12-hour shifts
Job Summary:
The Extrusion Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the extrusion line to ensure consistent product quality, safe operation, and efficient production. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to follow procedures and work as part of a team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate the extrusion line during 12-hour shifts.

Perform extrusion line start-up and shutdown procedures according to established guidelines.

Monitor product quality continuously throughout the extrusion process.

Track and maintain process parameters, ensuring they remain within specified limits.

Identify and take action to reduce scrap and material waste.

Log and maintain accurate production and process records.

Perform resin transfer and mixing activities as required.

Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.

Follow instructions and direction from the team lead.

Assist with housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Work collaboratively as a team player to meet production goals.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to move resin drums weighing up to 200 lbs.

Ability to stand and work for extended periods during long shifts.
Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Familiarity with product specifications and quality standards.

Ability to work long hours, including weekdays.

Prior extrusion or manufacturing experience preferred.
