Our team supports the safe and efficient movement of high-value materials through multiple modes of transportation while maintaining strong inventory visibility and accountability throughout the supply chain.
Position Overview
The Inventory Control Clerk plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records across logistics and transportation operations. This position supports daily warehouse, rail, and yard activities by tracking inventory movement, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring documentation accuracy. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities

Track and maintain accurate inventory records across facilities

Monitor inventory movement related to inbound, outbound, and transferred materials

Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits

Research and resolve inventory discrepancies

Process receiving, shipping, and transfer documentation

Verify bills of lading, rail documentation, and shipping paperwork

Coordinate with operations, dispatch, and customer service teams

Maintain organized and compliant inventory records

Support safety, compliance, and operational procedures
Qualifications

3+ year of experience in inventory control, warehouse, logistics, or transportation preferred

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

Experience with inventory management systems and basic Excel skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Experience in rail, port, transload, or industrial environments is a plus
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Facility-based role with exposure to warehouse, yard, or rail operations

Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the workday

Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs

Use of standard office and warehouse equipment
