Forklift Operator
Full-Time | Permanent Position | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
We're launching a new distribution facility and are looking for experienced Forklift Operators who bring a start-up mentality, strong safety awareness, and a commitment to operational excellence. Join our team from the ground up and help build a safe, efficient, and successful operation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily safety inspections of forklifts and material handling equipment
- Safely load, unload, move, and stage products throughout the warehouse
- Verify pallet labels and shipping documentation before movement
- Operate the appropriate equipment for each task and product type
- Report equipment issues, damage, or safety concerns immediately
- Handle scrap, spoilage, and waste materials as required
- Maintain equipment and return it to charging stations at the end of each shift
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and productivity standards
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of warehouse, shipping, manufacturing, or distribution experience
- 6 months to 1 year of forklift operating experience
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Self-motivated, dependable, and safety-focused
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
