Mechanic
Location: Pine Bluff, AR
Pay: $18.00/hr + (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
About the PositionWe are hiring an experienced Mechanic for a local automotive repair facility in the Pine Bluff area. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who enjoys diagnosing and repairing vehicles while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
ResponsibilitiesDiagnose mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of vehicles
Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake services
Repair engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and other vehicle systems
Conduct inspections and identify needed repairs
Use diagnostic equipment and hand tools safely and effectively
Maintain accurate repair records and communicate findings clearly
Keep work area clean and follow all safety procedures
QualificationsPrevious automotive mechanic experience required
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
Ability to use automotive diagnostic equipment
Valid driver's license preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment
Dependable, motivated, and able to work independently as well as with a team
