Mechanic
Location: Pine Bluff, AR
Pay: DOE (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
About the Position
We are hiring an experienced Mechanic for a local automotive repair facility in the Pine Bluff area. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who enjoys diagnosing and repairing vehicles while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake services
- Repair engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and other vehicle systems
- Conduct inspections and identify needed repairs
- Use diagnostic equipment and hand tools safely and effectively
- Maintain accurate repair records and communicate findings clearly
- Keep work area clean and follow all safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous automotive mechanic experience required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
- Ability to use automotive diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment
- Dependable, motivated, and able to work independently as well as with a team
