Cashier/Food Handler
Job Summary
As a Cashier/Food Handler, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient preparation of food items. Your responsibilities will include operating the cash register, handling customer transactions, and assisting with various food preparation and handling tasks to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service at the cash register
- Accurately process customer payments and handle cash and credit card transactions
- Assist with the preparation of food items, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the proper storage and handling of food products
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient food service operation
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food service or customer service role is preferred
- Proficient in basic math and cash handling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Food Handler certification or willingness to obtain one
Working Conditions
This is a temporary position that may require standing for extended periods, frequent lifting of moderate weights, and exposure to a commercial kitchen environment. The work schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate our customer's needs.
