MachinistJob SummaryAs a Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery and equipment, ensuring the smooth and efficient production of our industrial products. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety will be instrumental in contributing to the overall success of our organization.Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain a variety of machines and equipment used in the manufacturing process- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance- Assist with the movement, storage, and organization of raw materials, components, and finished products- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements- Adhere to all safety protocols and quality control standardsQualifications- High school diploma or equivalent- 1-2 years of experience as a Machinist or in a similar manufacturing role- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to qualityWorking ConditionsThis Machinist position is a temporary assignment. The work environment is a fast-paced manufacturing facility, with exposure to noise, vibrations, and various physical demands. Shifts may include days, evenings, and weekends, with the possibility of overtime as needed.Compensation and BenefitsHourly rate of $14 per hour.
