Position: Cashier / Customer Service Clerk
Location: Hope, AR
Hours: Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri 9am-6pm, Sat 9am-1pm
Pay: $15-20/hour, DOE
Benefits: Medical offered, once perm
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at our Home Center. This role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including handling customer transactions, verifying applications, processing lease agreements, taking payments, and providing customer service. The ideal candidate will possess basic computer and math skills and demonstrate strong communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Process customer transactions quickly and accurately, including payments and collections.

Verify applications and ensure the accuracy of lease agreements.

Take customer orders and assist with special requests as needed.

Answer incoming calls, providing information or redirecting to the appropriate department.

Maintain an organized cash drawer and reconcile payments at the end of the shift.

Ensure accurate data entry into the system, including payment processing and order details.

Provide general customer service, helping with inquiries and resolving issues.

Uphold the store's standards of customer service and professionalism.
Qualifications:

Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic office software.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with customers professionally.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus.
