Job Full Description
Position Title: Quality Inspector
Pay Range: $23 - $25 / hour
Schedule: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm M-F
Location: Anaheim, CA
The scope covers responsibilities that include inspecting, testing, sampling of medical devices being manufactured, inspections of incoming materials and components, in process sub-assemblies, and finished products. The QC Inspector is required to have technical knowledge of all quality standards. The position functions in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while prioritizing multiple tasks and maintaining the highest level of compliance and quality. This position also performs a range of administrative tasks and office systems functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- HBO Chamber/mixer/ventilator assembly, receiving overhaul and service HBO and mixer.
- Overhaul and Service manufacturing cell.
- Pressure testing, visual verifications, functional testing, some measuring using small measuring equipment.
- Compiles reviews and distributes quality assurance inspection and release documentation ensuring completeness, accuracy and quality system/GMP compliance.
- Collects quality trend data for month-end quality performance reports.
- Participates in Quality Department continuous improvement projects and Lean-Sig-sigma activities.
Requirements, Experience & Education
- High school graduate or GED; and
- Minimum 2 years working in a regulated industry, quality control environment. Electromechanical medical device manufacturing preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of receiving inspection, activities including quality record compilation
- Proficient computer application skills, e.g., Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access, Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve, often cross-functionally and with various departments and levels of employees
