Appliance / Field Service Technician
Location: Based in BREA with assignments in OC and San Diego
Pay: $50k to $70 base plus commission
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable Appliance / Field Service Technician to travel to job sites and customer locations to diagnose, repair, and service household and light commercial appliances. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys working independently and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, and ranges
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and basic plumbing repairs
- Travel to customer locations and job sites using a company or personal vehicle
- Communicate repair needs and solutions clearly with customers and internal teams
- Complete service tickets, documentation, and parts tracking accurately
- Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in appliance repair, maintenance, or field service
- Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred (Not Required):
- EPA 608 Certification
- OSHA or safety training
- Manufacturer appliance training (GE, Whirlpool, LG, Samsung, etc.)
- Experience with service software or mobile work orders
