Job Title: Sander / Polisher
Pay Rate: $19 – $20 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
Job Summary
The Sander / Polisher is responsible for sanding and polishing cylinders using hand and power tools to meet quality and finish standards. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow manufacturing instructions, and consistency in meeting production goals.
Responsibilities

Use hand and power tools (including sanders) to sand and polish cylinders to acceptable finished product standards

Meet assigned production schedules by meeting or exceeding company labor standards with minimal defects

Perform basic and general maintenance on sanding and polishing equipment

Read, understand, and follow manufacturing documents, work instructions, and specifications

Accurately record required production and quality data on associated documents

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Qualifications

Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English

Experience using hand and power tools preferred

Strong attention to detail and quality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable attendance and ability to maintain production standards
