Job Full Description
Our client is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Procurement Clerk to support purchasing and inventory coordination. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills in a close-knit team environment.
Key Responsibilities
● Assist with creating and processing purchase orders
● Track and update order statuses to ensure timely deliveries
● Support the procurement team with inventory checks and data entry
● Run basic reports and perform data entry/analysis using Excel
● Communicate with suppliers regarding basic order updates and follow-ups
● Maintain accurate records of invoices, shipments, and supplier information
● Help coordinate internal documentation and filing for procurement activities
● Collaborate with other departments (warehouse, production, sales) to support smooth operations ● Assist with booking shipments, tracking deliveries, and updating records in the ERP system ● Help process invoices and resolve basic payment issues with A/P
Qualifications & Skills
● 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain support
● Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data entry)
● Comfortable working with data and generating basic reports
● Clear communication skills
● Bilingual in Mandarin preferred to communicate with international suppliers and teams
● Experience in similar industries (e.g., plumbing, hardware, manufacturing, or distribution) is a plus
● Experience using ERP systems for purchasing or inventory tracking preferred
● Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
