Title: Route Manager -Service Tech

Job Summary:
Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of customers’ pools and spas. Overseeing ALL Route Staff and quoting and or overseeing quoting new customer for route. To insure safe practices for staff and customers. Find ways to improve efficiency in routing to improve services and save costs. Training new staff.

Operations Manager: Jim Morrison
Superintendent: Chris Russo
President: Dale Simpson
Indirect Reporting relationship: Route Coordinator.
Oversee the following:
1. Assistant Route Manager.
2.Route Coordinator.
3. All Route Techs.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for all routes and ensuring all routes are covered.
Responsible for all truck maintenances for Route. Making sure route staff is maintaining trucks and keeping them clean and washed inside and out.
Maintaining a professional image and presence in front of clients and Staff.
Responsible Hiring and training of all new hires.
Markets Guiton’s retail products and service.
Required to find ways stay profitable and Cost conscious.
Provides customer service on a specific day and time on a weekly basis to establish reliability.
Reports to the service department manager(s) daily with all required paperwork.
Strives to exceed customers’ expectations with regard to a clean pool environment
Asist with Route phone calls while at the office.
When in the field: Tests and chemically treats pool or spa water as needed.
When in the field: Cleans debris from pool surface, floor, siding, skimmer and pump baskets. Cleans tile. Filter cleaning and replacement as necessary.

Good communication skills be personable, responsible, self-starter, honest, dependable, team oriented.
Physical Job Description:
Typical working conditions: Tech will be exposed to basic pool chemicals. Daily exposure to seasonal weather extremes of heat and cold is possible. Because of rural locations, poisonous snakes or insects may be encountered. Employees are cautioned to be aware of changing atmospheric conditions that could generate hazards (i.e. lighting, snow, or severe flooding).
Equipment Used: Normal pool cleaning tools (leaf rakes, brushes, chemical test kits, filters, pumps, mechanical and electronic controllers (time clocks) and various hand tools.
Essential Physical tasks: Must be able to lift and carry 40-50 lb. containers, material sacks, or heavy filter units. Bending and/or kneeling is also required at each site. (See attached analysis of physical demands).
Safety Practices. Enforcing the use of PPE Equipment and following all OSHA Standards.
