Apartment Maintenance Technician

Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (additional hours may be available)
Location: Cortez, CO, with travel to Durango, CO as needed
Transportation: Must have reliable transportation

We're looking for a reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician to help maintain apartment properties in Cortez and Durango. This position involves general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of apartment homes and common areas.

Responsibilities

• Complete general maintenance and repair tasks
• Repair toilets, sinks, showers, drains, and other plumbing fixtures
• Perform basic electrical, painting, and carpentry work
• Replace flooring as needed
• Clean and maintain common areas
• Respond to resident maintenance requests
• Monitor maintenance supplies and report inventory needs
• Ensure safety equipment is in good working order
• Travel between properties as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous maintenance experience preferred
• HVAC or related certifications are a plus
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds with assistance
• Ability to stand, bend, and work for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Available for occasional weekend work if needed
• Must have reliable transportation to travel between properties
